Kathleen MacDonald has worked with the university sector for over 15 years, specialising in research grant application reviews, research development support and facilitating grant-writing workshops and seminars. She has provided strategic and editorial advice for over 1000 research grant applications across STEM and HASS disciplines, as a consultant and within universities. This includes applications for national government funding schemes (ARC, NHMRC), non-government sectors and international funding schemes. She also has years of experience in writing research project fact-sheets for the public. Kathleen’s background includes physics and astronomy research, computer programming, research grants administration, and health, ageing and disability care.
